MAINTENANCE AFTER OPERATION
Batter \ charger
CAUTION
• Use an automatic E atter \ charger.
A E atter \ charger that automaticall \ s Z itches to the
tric N le charging mode Z hen recover \ charging has E een
completed
Charging current Z hen recover \ charging is carried out
1.8 A or E elo Z
Charging current Z hen tric N le charging is carried out 20
mA or E elo Z
• Use a maintenance-free MF E atter \ .
• The E atter \ capacit \ must E e 12 V 16 Ah.
• Use a E atter \ charger that has an overcharge prevention
function.
• When carr \ ing out manual charging, charge the E atteries
for 5 to 10 hours Z ith a charging current of 1.8 A.
Disconnect the E atter \ charger after charging is completed.
2. When charging the battery, set the main switch to the ³ ´ position.
NOTE
If the switch is set to the ³ ´ position, the battery cannot be
charged because the charging circuit is turned O )) .
WARNING
Do not connect a cigarette lighter to the E atter \ charger
soc N et. Doing so ma \ melt or E urn out the soc N et due to
overheating.
3. When you set the main switch to the ³ ´ position, chec N that the Low Battery
warning lamp goes out after alert action chec N .
