Step 1. Press the Talk key on the Conference
unit.
The Speech indicator and Microphone
in-use indicator light, placing the unit in
speech mode.
No sound is output from the monitor
speaker while both indicators are
continuously lit.
Note
The unit cannot be used for speech if the
indicators do not light.
Step 2. Speak into the microphone.
Step 3. Press the Talk key again after speech
completion.
The indicators go out, and sound can be
output from the monitor speaker.
Note
When the user forgets to turn off the
microphone, the Mic-Off function
automatically turns off the microphone
approximately 30 seconds after speech
completion. (Refer to p. 40.)
