10. Inverter Installation
10.1. Cabinet base and tolerance for the skid
Establish a reference line from the reference point and measure the distances, angles, inclinations and
levels involved. Install the cabinet base after verifying all measurements. Please refer to the layout
diagram in the attached documentation for further details.
(1) Tolerance for distances measured from the reference line to the upper part of the cabinet base
is +0.5mm. The upper part of the cabinet base cannot be below the surface (reference line) in
cases where the cabinet base is embedded.
(2) Mark the location of the fixation holes according to the location given in the layout diagram (Fig.
10.1) and verify with a theodolite or a transit that the elevation of each point is equal with a
tolerance of 1mm.
(3) The inverter must be set on a flat surface. Use extra caution on the angle in the direction
between the front and back side of the inverter cabinet. A slight tilt could have detrimental
effects on the inverter operation and lifetime. Refer to the tolerance illustrated Fig. 10.2.
(4) Install the inverter onto the skid with proper dimensions and leveled surface.
