FloppyFlex Installation warnings
FloppyFlex is ready for final installation when
mounting profiles are permanently installed
into place and any dust or debris that has
settled is cleaned thoroughly.
FloppyFlex assembly installation is a quick
and easy process which should respect all
care and handling requirements discussed at
the beginning of this user manual.
Additional guidelines below:

When mounting FloppyFlex
assemblies into a profile, always press
the FloppyFlex in one direction, from
one end to another.
Warning
: Never press FloppyFlex
from both sides simultaneously to
“meet in the middle” This can result in
bubbling and can damage the inner
PCB and LED components
o
Always keep the angle of installation
no
more than 15˚ from the profile, to
prevent incorrect bending.
o
Never apply any unnecessary bearing
force or stress on EZ Connect power
feed or Molded power feed cable.
Keep at least 10 mm of slack at the
beginning of the cable before curling or
bending.
o
Avoid bending the light at the first
cutting unit. Observe rules for
minimum bending diameter otherwise.
o
When handling FloppyFlex in lengths
greater than 2 meters, make sure to
have a second person helping to
support the product while the first
person secures the product into place.
