• You may be trying to access an antenna or analog cable
channel. TiVo Roamio boxes do not receive analog channels.
The TiVo Roamio Plus and Roamio Pro also do not receive
over-the-air programming, and will not work with an over-the-
air antenna.
Note: Most of the largest cable providers have “digital
simulcast,” which means they rebroadcast all of their analog
channel programming on digital channels as well. This means
that all programs available on analog channels are also
available on digital channels when a CableCARD is inserted.
Therefore, if your provider has “digital simulcast,” you will not
miss any of your cable channel programming with a TiVo
Roamio Plus or Roamio Pro.
The TiVo Remote Control
My TiVo remote control doesn't work with my TiVo
Roamio.
• Be sure you are using the TiVo Roamio’s remote control, and
that you hold it so that the TiVo button points toward the
TiVo Roamio.
• If you are trying to use the remote control in RF mode (so that
it can control a TiVo Roamio Plus or Roamio Pro that is not
within line-of-sight), make sure the remote is paired with the
DVR. See
RF Remote Setup for instructions.
• Press any button on the remote. Does the light on the remote
flash?
• If the light does not flash, make sure the batteries are
positioned correctly in the remote. If they are correctly
positioned, try a new set of batteries. See the inside back
cover of this guide for instructions on installing batteries.
• If the light on the remote does flash, watch the lights on
the front of the TiVo Roamio. If lights on the front of the
TiVo Roamio do not respond to the remote, restart your
TiVo Roamio. See

• You may not have the correct input selected on your TV. Use
the Input, Source, or TV/Video button on your TV’s remote to
change the input.
My Shows
My OnePass folder for a show is empty.
• You might be looking in the ‘Recordings
’
view for a OnePass
search that has no recordings. Double check that you are
using the correct view by going to the OnePass folder and
pressing the
button. For more information, see Sorting
and filtering shows .
I have a lot of streaming videos in My Shows. Do
they take up disk space?
• No. Streaming videos are not stored on the TiVo DVR, so they
do not take up any disk space.
