same width.

1. Loosen the parallel guide lock knob and slide

the parallel fence into position.

2.  Adjust  the  fence  to  the  required  width,  and

secure by tightening the parallel fence lock knob.

When you now use the saw, ensure that the edge

of the parallel fence is resting against the edge of

the wood to give a perfect parallel cut.

7. OPERATION

(see fig5)

Adjust  the  mitre  angle  and  cutting  depth  to  the

required  level  and  place  front  of  the  base  plate

on the workpiece (do not allow the blade to touch

the workpiece at this time).

Start  the  saw,  when  the  saw  is  at  maximum

speed, slowly push forward. Hold the saw securely

with both hands.

8. FITTING A NEW BLADE

 (see fig6,fig7,fig8)

WARNING

: Remove the mains plug from

socket before carrying out any adjustment

fig7). There is no need to remove the inner flange.

If the inner flange is inadvertently removed this

will need to be re-fitted before fitting new blade.

Fit  inner  lange  with  smaller  diameter  section

facing inwards to saw body. (See fig8 for blade

component fitting order.)

4. Slide a 185mm cutting blade through the hole

in  the  bottom  of  the  metal  baseplate  and  place

on the central hub on top of the inner flange, you

may need to wiggle the blade a little to achieve

this.

5. Place the outer flange back on the centre of the

blade and place the washer on top of the outer
