DIAGNOSTICS
The DIAGNOSTICS menu (shown below) provides information and troubleshooting
functions to help diagnose any problems that may occur. Details on the various menu items
are provided below.

Diagnosing Sensor Readings
The first 7 menu items show the raw and calibrated values for the various sensors. These
menu items are updates 1 per second with the latest values read by the system. The values in
parenthesis are the raw analog to digital convertor (ADC) values. The values at the end of
the line are the calibrated values.
The raw ADC values can be used to examine how well a sensor is working regardless of its
calibration status. Therefore, it can be useful in tracking down if a sensor is working, but not
being calibrated correctly. The raw analog to digital convertor values for Qamb and Qstd
will always read zero, since there is no associated analog to digital convertor. There values
are calculated from the other sensor values. The raw values for Tamb and Tcjc range from 0
to 65535. The raw values for Pamb, Pdif, and Pcal range from 0 to 4095. Values of 0 and
4095 (or 65535 depending on the sensor in question) indicate that the signal from the sensor
has saturated the ADC. If this is observed, the first thing to check is for an external source
causing the sensor to be forced out of its expected operating range.
Diagnosing the Remote Trigger Signal
The REMOTE SIGNAL menu item displays the status of the remote trigger input. This is
useful when first connecting the remote device to the unit to verify that the unit is indeed
seeing the remote signal.
