Remove the battery cables from the battery when the boat
is placed in storage, on display or in transit, to eliminate
the possibility of the engine accidentally starting without a
supply of cooling water.
The battery and cables are identified:
+ = red positive
– = black negative
To clean your battery, remove and wash down the battery
case with a diluted ammonia or baking soda/water solution
to neutralize the acid, then flush with fresh water. Keep the
fill/vent caps tight so the neutralizing solution does not get
into the battery cells.
The electrolyte level should be checked every 30 days. Use
distilled water only if any water is required. Maintain the
level between the top of the plates and the bottom of the
fill/vent cap. DO NOT overfill. Batteries contain sulfuric acid
which can cause severe burns.

TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL INSPECTION

Refer to engine manual or your authorized Tigé dealer.
Check the oil with the boat level and the engine off.
Remove the oil level dipstick. The oil level should be
between the “FULL LEVEL” and the “LOW LEVEL” indicator
marks on the dipstick.
Verify the oil level with the gauge fully inserted into
the transmission housing. DO NOT overfill. Use fresh
