6. Maintenance
The Prüfball ZAP 1050L is completely maintenance-
free. Nevertheless, observe the following instructions
for safe use:
The voltage tester should be kept dry and clean. The
plastic casing can be cleaned with a cloth dampened
with isopropyl alcohol or soapy water.
7. Repair
Repair is only allowed by the manufacturer or explicitly
authorised repair shops.
In case of damages or for inspection and calibration,
please contact: [email protected] or send the
device back to the manufacturer (address see page 1).
7.1 Repeated examination
In accordance with EN 61243-3: 2011-02 the period
for repeated examinations may not exceed six years.
Depending on operating conditions and frequency of
use, an earlier examination can be recommendable.
The date of manufacture (xxxxx = series, wwyy) is en-
graved on the backside.
