UP 300 Service Manual

Operation Guide 05-Replacing steering gear assembly

Tool

Cross screwdriver

1. Remove the steering gear assembly by unscrewing the fixing screws from the bottom;
2. Remove the steering gear component by removing the CFC cable on the steering gear 
board.

3. Replace the steering gear CFC cable: loosen the 4 screws of the adapter board cover, and 
then remove the steering gear CFC cable.

Note: Pay attention to the reserved length of the steering gear cable during installation, that is, the CFC cable 
touches neither the belt nor the steering gear board in the steering process of the steering gear.
