Write a new Message
Press
Menu
and select
Messaging > New message
.
ABC , abc , and Abc indicate the selected character
mode. 123 indicates number mode. The available text input
formats in your Thuraya XT phone are:
Capital Small C Small
Number Special Character eZiText On
Arabic , Farsi, Urdu , Hindi Number
wait until the cursor moves to the right of the character,
(or press to move the cursor to the right of the character) and
continue to enter the text.
• To erase a character, press (Clear). Press and
hold (Clear) to clear all characters.
• To insert a space, press .
• The most common symbols are available
under the number 1 key.
To insert a symbol, press and use to
choose the required symbol.
Traditional text input
• Press a number key (1- 9) repeatedly until the
desired character appears. There are more
characters available for a number key than are
printed on the key.
• To insert a number, press and hold the number key.
• To switch between the different character
modes, press .
• If the next letter is located on the same key as
the present one.
