Using a phone or fax machine

Available interfaces

Three types of voice equipment connect to the terminal:

Standard analog phone or G3 fax machine

: The terminal has two phone connectors for connecting

standard analog phones or fax machines.

IP handset

: The terminal has four LAN connectors with Power over Ethernet for connecting IP

handsets or other IP equipment. For information on the features and functions of the Thrane &
Thrane IP handset, refer to the user manual for the handset.

ISDN phone or G4 fax machine

: The terminal has one ISDN connector for connecting an ISDN

phone, a modem or a fax machine.

For information on how to connect to the interfaces, see the installation manual for the
