7.2.1. Lens Alignment
1.
Adjust the Locking Setscrew (left side of the unit) and the Fine Hex
Adjuster (right side of the unit) to align the lens.
a. Use the 1.5 mm hex key to loosen the Locking Setscrew.
b. Use the 1.5 mm hex key to turn the Fine Hex Adjuster either
clockwise or counter-clockwise until the beam is at its brightest
point.
c. Tighten the Locking Setscrew to lock the lens in place after the
final lens adjustment.

3 until you align the smallest pinhole size (25 μm).
Note:
For optimal alignment, use a power meter (not included with
the MPH16-UC unit) to measure the transmitted beam intensity.
Adjust the pinhole wheel and lens alignment for maximum reading on
the power meter.

In the
MPH16 Pinhole Control
window, click
File>Save Settings
to
save your settings. This will allow you to avoid repeating the fine
manual adjustment procedure every time you use the device.
