Intended Purpose
Intended Use / Application Areas
The A-Chassis Advantage is a class 1 medical device.
In combination with the right seat unit the product can be used at a walking pace indoors and outdoors. When used
outside the chassis features a comfortable suspension. It helps promote the mobility of the user. The chassis in combina-
tion with a suitable seat unit should not be weighed down with addition loads.
When using the A-Chassis Advantage, “Crash” model, transporting children in vehicles / disability vehicles is approved
in accordance with ISO 7176-19 and ANSI/RESNA WC-4: Section 19.
Any use that goes above and beyond this does not comply with the intended use.
Indication / Patient Target Group / Intended Users
The product is suitable for transporting children with significant to total mobility impairment and functional injury to
the lower extremities. It is particularly suited to children who are sensitive to jarring. In addition, the indications / target
groups for each seat unit should be noted.
Risks Associated with Use and Contraindications
If used properly, risks can be eliminated during use. There are no known contraindications.
Product Description
Scope of Delivery
Your product is delivered with the standard equipment and comes preassembled. If the chassis was ordered together
with the seat unit, the seat unit is already mounted to the chassis upon delivery. Any accessories ordered along with the
product are included and have to be assembled subsequently. A copy of the Instructions for Use is enclosed with the
product.

lightweight and stable aluminum chassis, foldable; folding lock; adjustment of seat angle inclination as well as seat as-
sembling and disassembling by central lever; included spring in rear frame; height adjustable push bar with biocompat-
ible soft grip; foot brake; no-flat EVA-wheels; swivel front wheels incl. swivel lock; removable basket
The “Crash” model is also equipped with special connection points so that it can be used as a seat in a motor vehicle.
