After successful installation of the setup program, a new StarA200_300SoftwareUpgrade
icon will appear on the computer’s desktop. Double click the icon to launch the program.
9.
Follow all prompts, including reviewing and accepting the licensing agreement, to start the
software update. If any security warning messages appear, select the run software option.
10.
Set the interface parameters for running the software update program.
a.
When using the USB-to-Serial computer cable, select Serial as the connection method,
enter the COM port location (viewable in Device Manager under Ports) and enter the
current meter baud rate (default setting is 9600).
b.
When using the USB computer cable, the software update will detect the USB
connection (USB driver must be installed prior to launching the software update).
