TURN-ON
Caution:
To avoid damage to the instrument, do
not place objects (e.g. slide baskets)
on top of the hood of the Robot
Stainer.
Note:
The kind of the used examination
materials and all special conditions for
their processing, pre-treatment and, if
necessary, storage as well as instrument controls
for correct and safe operation is in the
responsibility of the operator.
The operator is also responsible for special
equipment and materials and/or reagents for the
operation of the instrument.
Warning:
Before turning on the instrument for
the first time, please check if the power
requirements indicated on the type
plate (fig. 5) correspond to the power supply
voltage being used.
Current supply:
Connect the power line on the instrument (fig.
4.1) and insert it in a socket.
Covers:
Place covers onto all stations.
For the initial turn-on, a cover must be installed
on the transportation arm.
Filling the reagent containers with reagents:
Before starting the staining process, fill the
containers according to the pre-defined bath
plan with the corresponding reagents.
Fill the containers to the marking. This way,
optimal results are achieved during the
individual staining steps.
Moreover, when creating a bath layout, a limit
how often a reagent is allowed to be used, can
be stored.
