5. Carefully pull the top part of the extension upwards.
Screw the left and right sides of the extension to the
mounting bracket with the supplied stainless screws.
6. From inside of hood, screw the supplied

sheet metal screws through the holes on each side
and along the front into bottom of the extension.
Screw quantity is dependent on hood size.
Recirculating Kit (optional)
When used in recirculation mode, To Reduce the Risk of
Fire and Shock use only conversion kit Model RECHMCB.
If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to
the outside, the hood can be used in the non-vented
(recirculating) version, using the recirculating kit .
Fumes and vapors are recycled through the round grid.

1. Assemble the air deflector with the duct cover bracket
using (4) 4.2 x 8 mm screws.

2. Measure from the bottom of the air deflector to the
bottom of the hood outlet.

3. Cut the duct to the measured size “X.”
4. Remove the air deflector.
5. Slide the duct onto the bottom of the air deflector.
6. Place the assembled air deflector and duct over the
exhaust outlet from the hood.
7. Reassemble the air deflector to the duct cover bracket
with the four assembly screws.
8. Use duct tape or vent clamps to seal the deflector and
the exhaust outlet from the hood.
