4. Adjust over all lift rod length to approximately
36 9/16 in.(930mm). Install the lift rod to the lift
link using a flat headed pin and a hair pin,
Figure 19.

5. Push the lift control lever forward fully for
lower link to be in the lowest position. Install
the bracket of lift rod to the inside of lower link,
Figure 20.

6. Install the universal joint to the mower as
shown in Figure 21. Insert the shaft of the
mower into the joint, align the holes and
secure the shaft with the joint using the bolt,
castle nut and split pin.

IMPORTANT: When installing the universal joint,
the front and rear yokes must be kept in the phase
plane, as shown in Figure 21. A blind Spline is
provided to assist in properly aligning the P.T.O.
joints. Whenever removing the mower, do not leave
any part of the drive line on the tractor.
