2.2.2 Read Function-Control Register
The TLC694x device also provides the method to read back the function-control data from internal
registers. Similar to function-control data-write operation, the TLC694x device uses the number of SCLK
rising edges when LAT is HIGH to distinguish the function-control data-read command.

Once any of the function-control data-read commands is received, the 16-bit data in the corresponding
function-control register are copied to the common shift register at the falling edge of the LAT signal. Then
the data loaded in the common shift register can be read out from SOUT, synchronized with SCLK rising
edge.
