ADS1278EVM
from the EVM drop-down menu. The ADS1278EVM-PDK plug-in appears in the
left pane, as shown in
.

3. The ADS1278EVM-PDK plug-in window has a status area at the top of the screen. When the plug-in is
first loaded, the plug-in searches for the board. You will see a series of messages in the status area
indicating this action.
4. If you have not yet loaded the operating system drivers, Windows will display the Windows Install New
Driver Wizard sequence (illustrated in
through
). Accept the default settings.
Note:
During the driver installation, a message may appear indicating the firmware load has TIMED
OUT. Click OK and continue driver installation. The plug-in will attempt to download the
firmware again once the driver installation completes.
