2. Safety instructions 

 

As a user of this machine you should read this manual carefully before using the mashine 
for the first time. Follow these instructions and keep the manual for later reference or if you 
sell the machine.  

The machine must only be used for clearing snow from areas with hard surface and even 
surface.  

If you use the machine for purposes not mentioned in this manual or if you make unauthor-
ized changes to the machine, the guarantee is no longer valid. The user of the machine is 
liable for damages to third party of his property that results from wrong/unauthorized use of 
the machine.  

Only use original spare parts  

Persons under the age of 16 must not use the machine.  

Keep others, especially children and animals away from the work area.  

Use gloves, eye protection, close fitting winter clothes and robust foot wear when using the 
machine.  

Never tank in a closed area, when the engine is running or it is hot.  

Do not smoke while tanking.  

Never overfill the tank.  

In case fuel is spilled while tanking it must be wiped away before starting the engine.  

Store fuel in a clean container approved for the purpose.  

Take care the your body or your clothes does get near rotating of warm parts of  the ma-
chine.  

Turn off the machine when it is not in use. Also when you leave it, make adjustments , per-
forms maintenance or repairs.  

If the machine hits a rock of other hard effects and unusually many vibrations occur you 
must turn off the machine immediately and check for defects. All defects must be repaired 
before you use the machine again.  

Let the machine cool down before parking it in a closed area.  

As long as the guarantee is running the machine may only be repaired by our local dealer.  

On various places on the machine you will find safety and warning signs with these sym-
bols or pictograms. They have the following meaning.
