Mounting of handlebar:
The handlebar of the TEXAS Pro-Trim 600 consists of a upper
handlebar with connection lever and a lower handlebar. Firstly,
mount the lower handlebar on the machine, and then mount the
upper handlebar on the lower handlebar.
Mount the lower handlebar with four M8 x 20 mm bolts (1) with
relevant lock washers and nuts. Place nut and lock washer on the
inside of the plate frame of the machine.
Fix the upper handlebar with carriage bolts M8 x 60 mm (2) and two
plastic hand wheels with an M8 thread (3). Place the plastic hand
wheels on the inside of the upper handle of the machine.
Throttle control and clutch cable:
The throttle control which controls the rpm and the stop function, as
well as the clutch cable which activates and stops the trimmer head
have already been mounted on the machine.
Fix the throttle control (1) on the right side of the handlebar with an
M6 x 60 mm bolt with lock washers and cap nut.
The end of the clutch cable (2) forms a loop. Place this loop on the
connection lever as shown on the figure. Adjust the cable with the
adjustment screw of the cable (3). The cable shall be just straight so
that it will not fall off while operating the machine.
Release for pivoting wheels:
The TEXAS Pro-Trim machine is equipped with pivoting wheels in
both sides. The wheels are fixed by means of a catch which can be
released from the handlebar with a lever connected to the machine
with a nylon line. Pull the line, which has already been mounted by
the manufacturer, through the hole (1) of the lower handle bar, and
then fasten the loose lever (2) with a knot or two.
When the operator wants to pivot the wheels: Pull the line so that
the catch is released. The wheels can now freely be pivoted with a
foot. Remember always to check that the wheels are fixed in one of
the holes.
