2.3. EN 361
These harnesses are mainly used for fall
arrest purposes, i.e., they support the entire
body of the wearer and, in the event of a
fall and after arresting a fall, hold him/her
in an upright position.
2.4. EN 358 (ONLY BMOTION PRO)
This harness belays its wearer at the work
site (work positioning) or prevents the wear-
er from reaching a location from where
he/she can fall down (restraint function).
A work positioning harness to EN 358 by
itself is not suitable for fall arrest purpos-
es! In order to provide protection against
falls from a height, it may be necessary
to use configurations including collective
equipment (e.g., safety nets) or personal
protective equipment (e.g., fall protection
systems to EN 363)!
