Adjusting the balance
Balance means the balance of volume between the right
and left loudspeakers .
1 . Press button

The letter "L" appears on the display panel

with the preset value for the left channel within a range
of –10 db to +10 db .
2 . Change the volume level for the left channel to suit
your own taste, using dial

Radio mode
Select one of the two radio reception ranges as your
source (see previous page):
FM
– to receive mono and stereo stations from 87 .5 to
108 MHz, RDS mode possible
AM
– to receive mono stations from 522 to 1,629 kHz
20 stations can be stored in each range (see below) .

"Auto" is used to switch between manual and
automatic search mode . When you press the button,
the text "AUTO" or "MANUAL" appears briefly on the
display panel

Automatic
: When the button is pressed, the unit
searches the waveband in the desired direction until it
finds a station with a sufficiently strong signal .

Manual
: Each time the button is pressed, the frequency
is increased or decreased by one step (FM: 0 .05 MHz,
AM: 9 kHz) .
