Center speaker
• Place the center speaker in a central position directly
under the screen or ideally on an arc slightly bent
towards the screen. You can also mount some speaker
models directly on the wall with the keyhole on the
rear panel.
Front speaker
• The front speakers are set up or hung to the right and
left of the screen.
• They should be in line with the center speaker and
form an equilateral triangle with the listener – the
so-called stereo triangle (distance from the listener =
distance between the speakers).
• The speakers should project sound directly into the
room or slightly towards the listener.
Rear speakers
• The rear speakers are set up or wall mounted to the
side (a) or behind (b) the listener at a height of 1.20 m
to 2.10 m.
• The distance to the listener should amount to at least
100 cm.
Subwoofer
• The location of the subwoofer can be freely selected
and does not infl uence the other speakers. However,
do not place it in the corner of a room as this may
cause uncontrollable frequency overloads. A location
between the front speakers is often ideal.
Tip:
You can purchase installation materials (cables, wall
brackets and resonance dampers) especially designed for
these speakers in our webshop (www.teufelaudio.com) in
the “Accessories” area.
Connecting the speakers
Use the enclosed coloured speaker cables to connect the
speakers. You can order longer cables if you need them
in our webshop (www.teufel.de) in the “Accessories”

1. Connect the coloured receiver terminal with the like
coloured or red terminal on the corresponding speaker.
2. Then also connect the black terminal of the receiver with
the black speaker terminal.
Make sure that the polarity is correct!
Never connect a black terminal with a coloured
one. Otherwise the sound quality will suffer.
