Store the operating instructions so that they are always
accessible to all operating personnel.
Every operator must be informed exactly where the
operating instructions have been stored.
2.1 Danger classifi cation
The safety precautions in the manual are always presented in the same format.
They consist of the
signal word,
which contains information on
the type and
source of the danger,
an explanation of the
preventative measures to be
taken
and a standard
warning symbol.
The following table gives you an overview of the signal words used, their alloca-
tion to specifi c dangers and their possible consequences.
