HEATING icon
Heating element unit heats the radiator that it is installed in main
-
taining the set operating parameters: heating power or room tem
-
perature. For adjustments, use the / keys while the
icon
lights up to indicate that the radiator is currently warmed up.
Model SKT-4 has a 10-step power / temperature control and au
-
tomatic mode of 4-hour DRYER (BOOSTER), therefore it works
very well as a clothes dryer and towel.
When connected to the TTIR programmer or other weekly pro
-
grammer *, the device can also be used to heat the room.
(* according to the EU Ecodesign Directive)
Construction of the device (PTC heating element) protects against
burning by restricting the temperature of the radiator to 60°C, re
-
gardless of its current setting, (provided that the heat output of the
heating element has been properly matched with the heat output
of the radiator).
Construction of the heating element unit as well as physical char
-
acteristics of the heating agent cause that the bottom pipes (espe
-
cially the two at the very bottom of the radiator) may have a lower
temperature than the remaining parts of the radiator – this is a nor
-
mal phenomenon.
