3.3.2 Using a Sheave on the Head Hook
1. Slide shaft T168485 partially into the head hook.
2. While sliding the shaft fit sheave spacer T168484
3. Then fit the sheave followed by another sheave spacer and slide the
shaft through so it’s centred in the Head Hook.
4. Then fit end plates T168492 to both sides and secure with M16
threaded rod, spring washers and hex nuts. Tighten nuts up adequately
while trying to keep equal lengths of threaded rod each side of the
head hook.

To tie off the 2 fall’s use the
stepped pin and flanged
bush. Tie off location shown
above.
6. Then fit the anti-two block
trigger plate
Check the rope and hook block to frame clearance at high boom angles.
Do not operate without sufficient clearance.
