Ignition switch
Five-position switch:
No circuit under voltage, key can be removed
and engine is stopped
Circuits under voltage, presetting for the engine
starting. Board controls and instruments are on.
Thermal starter for cold climates. Rotate the key
in this position and wait until the warning light

off; then rotate it to stroke end and start the

Engine starting; when released, key springs back

Forward/reverse gear selector switch
Three-position switch with lock in neutral position:

Neutral position; no gear engaged

IMPORTANT
The engine can be started only if selector 31 is to
the neutral "0" position.
