Checking the limit switches
(at every use)
Limit switch L on the boom
•
Raise and tilt the boom more than 40
°
and check if
the axle is blocked.
Should this not be the case, contact the GENIE
Technical Assistance Service.
Limit switch
M on the boom
•
Raise the boom beyond the horizontal and ensure
the sway control and the outrigger conttrol are
blocked.
Should this not be the case, contact the GENIE
Technical Assistance Service.

Checking the microswitch O on the parking
brake
(at every use)
To check the efficiency of the microswitch on the
parking brake, proceed as follows:
•
sit on the driving place, put the parking brake and
attempt to move with the machine. The machine
must stand still. Shoudl this not be the case, adjust
the distance of the brake microswitch or replace it.
