2.4.10.1 

Setting RS-232 or RS-485 

 

To change the support of RS-232 or RS-485 devices, please power down the encoder chassis 

and remove the ENC-100 blade gently from the chassis. Hold the encoder blade as shown 

below, with the video input pointing to the left. 

 

RS-232 setting: 

For supporting RS-232 devices on the comport the red jumper must be 

situated on the pair of left pins, as shown below. 

 

RS-485 setting: 

For supporting RS-485 devices please remove the red jumper from the 

ENC-100 blade. Please store it in a save place, so you can use it again
