Channels and Codes
Your handset has 10 channels and 15 codes.
Channels are divided into sets of frequencies that
allow you to make and receive Mike’s Talk Around
calls. Other parties may also be talking on the
same channel.
Codes help minimize interference from unwanted
messages and other disturbances when you are on
the same channel as others.
To have a conversation, all parties must be on the
same channel and code. For private Mike’s Talk
Around calls, the person you are calling must be in
Mike’s Talk Around and set to the same channel to
receive your call.
Note:
When making a code call, all parties that
are on your code and channel can hear
