So is the backfeed assigned as the hybrid input and has the backfeed been assigned as a network source in the
Axia iQ core? Is something other than the backfeed assigned as an input? Is that available on the network?
Try a different network source by selecting the browse button and selecting a source from the network that
you are familiar with. Does the front display icon change?
Indicator is Livewire logo (but no audio heard by caller):
Can you verify there is audio present in that source? Can you route that same source to an analog output
within your system and determine there is audio there or not?
In cases where you are getting a valid backfeed stream but are not able to get any audio in the backfeed, make
sure you understand the “Feed to source” feature of the Axia iQ console. In a source profile for the hybrid
(source type Phone), there is an option to select the “Feed to source”. By default this is “Auto (Program1 /
Phone)”. The Axia iQ console manual fully covers these options. For the sake of troubleshooting, you might
consider changing this option, or, if you don’t change the option, engage the PHONE assignment button on
the fader that has the audio you expect to be delivered to the caller. Note that this changes based on the ON
or OFF state of the fader that the hybrid is assigned to. (The features of the Feed to source in the iQ manual
explain this).
