5.3 Camera Settings
To access the
Camera Settings
screen, select the
Camera
option from the
Settings
menu.
The Camera Settings screen contains two ‘Tabs’. These are:
• General
• IP Address
5.3.1 General
(Camera Settings)
The
General
tab is shown in Fig. 5-8.

The options available in the Camera Settings tab are explained in the table below.
Option
Description
Rotate camera image by
180°
Select this option if the image appears upside down in
the camera.
Show thermal image
Select this option if you want to display a small thermal
image of the person being measured inset into the visual
camera image.
Areas in the thermal image above the alarm temperature
will be shown in red.
Image position
Use this drop-down list to select the area of the visual
camera image in which you want the thermal image to
appear.
Scale Min and Scale Max
These values define the upper and lower limits of the
temperature range being measured by the system.
As the VIRALERT 3 is designed to measure human body
temperature, the factory-set scale of 20 to 40 °C / 68 to
104 °F should be adequate for your system.
