9 Online traffic monitor

This chapter describes the Online Traffic Monitor that al-
lows you to collect and monitor statistics and call detail
records (CDRs). The following functions are possible with
this feature package: Calculation of statistic values, Gener-
ation of CDRs, and Generation of online CDRs using e-mail
9.1 Calculating and resetting statistic val-
ues and counters
9.1.1 Calculation and resetting of statistic values
Using the following parameter, you can copy statistical infor-
mation into a specified log file at a defined time and date.
StatisticTime=<path/file> <time> <day | mask>
The name of the file can be chosen freely.
Set the time using the following syntax:
<hh:mm> or
<hh.mm>
. If ?? is entered instead of a specified hour (for ex-
ample
??:mm
), the information is written into the log file once
every hour.
You can set
<day | mask>
to apply for days of the week or for
one specific day of the month as follows:
Use a bitmask to set the weekdays on which the configuration
applies here. The daymask appears in the following order: Ho-
SaFrThWeTuMoSu. For example, enter 00000001 if the config-
uration is to apply every Sunday.
To set the configuration to apply on one specific day every
month, enter the day of the month followed by a full stop. For
example, enter 15. if the configuration is to apply on the 15th
of every month.
If the configuration is to apply every day, do not set
<day>
.
With every saving of the log file, the statistic values are reset
and calculation starts again from zero.
