whether to trust the battery charger’s automatic cutoff. Battery packs which are completely dis-
charged should require 3-4 hours to reach a full charge. If you suspect that the charging cycle may
have terminated prematurely, disconnect the battery charger from its AC supply, wait for the LED
to turn off completely, then reconnect the battery charger and restart the charge process.

Battery Use:
•
Inspect the battery packs for damage regularly. Do not use damaged or distorted battery packs.

, Black to Black)
•
Ensure that all battery connectors are secure and push/pull clips are tight.
•
ALWAYS use THREE batteries in the Q/Z-1250. Do not operate on only two batteries. Doing so can
cause premature failure and/or damage to the batteries.
•
Never allow water to get inside of the battery pack or Power Module. If there is any evidence of corro-
sion, do not use the battery pack.
•
There is no need to remove the battery from the Power Module housing to charge the battery.
•
Battery packs will self-discharge when not in use. For best endurance, recharge all battery packs be-
fore use if more than a few days have passed since they were last charged.
Battery Charging:
•
Always charge in a ventilated area on a work bench away from flammable materials. Do not charge the
batteries inside of the boat.
•
Do not leave batteries on charge overnight. Charge when they can be monitored periodically.
•
Do not overcharge batteries. Limit charge times to a maximum of 10 hours.
