generAl informAtion
The basic electronics 20-0040 provides an inte-
grated ELA adaptation, which allows for an easy
installation of a PA-system (PA-amplifier) to your
telephone system and subsequent control via
your telephone system. Doing so enables voice
announcements via the speaker sets of any
telephone connected to your telephone system.
Additionally, you get to use your telephone to
trigger alarm signals (e.g. gong, siren), provided
the PA-amplifier enables such a feature. For this
purpose, the basic electronics 20-0040 provide
for two relays with potential-free switch output
(changeover contact) to be controlled via DTMF
dialling (code #, for configurations, please cf.
technical manual). It is also possible to connect
an external microphone (compare to electric
microphone ECM-60) to the basic electronics
20-0040 to allow direct responses. 20-0040
