Troubleshooting
MediaHub HD Troubleshooting
If the MediaHub HD does not seem to be working properly, lights are not illuminating and TV
is not auto-swtiching, try these troubleshooting procedures:
A
Fully remove AC power to the TV. Power cycle the MediaHub HD. Then re-apply
power to the TV and use the remote control to turn the TV on. Wait 30 seconds
before activating any input source into the MediaHub HD.

Ensure the HDMI cable is placed in the correct HDMI slot.
C
Ensure the proper DIP Switch Mode Settings are correct on the MediaHub HD
according to the brand of your TV.
D
Ensure the proper firmware versions and video driver versions are those that are
required for your STB/TV supported application. Use the On-Screen Display to
verify.
How to Access the On-Screen Display
The On-Screen Display (OSD) is a support feature that reports the snapshot
specification list of the MediaHub HD’s current technical settings and firmware
versions. Below are instructions to access the OSD.

When MediaHub HD is connected to a TV, select the HDMI AUX source, then
press the Audio/PC LED button so the orange light appears.

Press and hold both the Audio/PC and USB/Bluetooth buttons for 15
seconds, until the Audio/Video and Audio/PC LED lights start blinking.

On-Screen Display will show on the TV screen.

To exit OSD Mode, press and hold both the Audio/PC and
USB/Bluetooth LED buttons for 15 seconds, until the Audio/Video and
Audio/PC LED lights stop blinking.

Ensure the proper TV configuration was set between the MediaHub HD
and TV/STB (baud rate, control settings, etc.)
Step 2: Then press and hold both the
Audio/PC and USB/Bluetooth LED
buttons for 15 seconds until lights blink.
Step 1: Access the On-Screen Display
by first pressing the Audio/PC LED
button.
