TV/STB Supported Installation
For Implementing Auto-Switching Feature
MediaHub HD can be configured to automatically switch the TV input source to the TV’s
HDMI Auxiliary port once a device is plugged into the panel, without the need to use the
remote control INPUT button, channel map or on-screen prompts. This configuration requires
a serial control connection to a hospitality TV or Tuner Card/Set Top Box that has firmware
integrated with the TeleAdapt MediaHub HD.
The following pages outline instructions are for installing MediaHub HD with a specific brand
TV/STB supported serial control installation.
For hotel room environments that are integrating a TV plus VOD STB, MediaHub
may have direct serial control integration with both the TV serial port and the VOD
serial or data port. Please use the following list of priority connections when
determining which connection you should use to install MediaHub:
#1 Priority – Connect to LodgeNet Game/Data port
#2 Priority – Connect to RJP port (on most LG TVs)
#3 Priority – Connect to VOD STB Serial Control port (such as Enseo)
#4 Priority – Connect to TV Serial Control port
For all noted TV model numbers, “
