4.3 Application
With its flexible port and card design, the TekFlex-16 is a great solution for many types of systems.
This product is ideal for small and large systems which allow the smaller systems to be easily
expanded to a larger system in the future. When used with video conferencing or lecture capture, the
TekFlex-16 solves switching issues with its seamless switching and scaling. For the users who
demand more quality, the seamless switching adds an improvement of the standard matrix including
4K with down scaling for 1080p monitors.
TekFlex is ideal for videoconferencing and lecture capture applications by providing seamless
switching and lower resolutions to the codec or lecture capture system.
One of the great features of TekFlex is the ability to control endpoints using embedded RS232
commands across HDBaseT. The embedded control commands allow for selecting the slot number
and the baud rate of the endpoint device. The command is structure as follows:
/+[Y]/[X]:******.
Where Y is the slot number, X is the baud rate and ***** is the data. At the end
of the data a “.” must
be sent.
