Performance Veri

cation

Set the probe range to 25 A.

Degauss the probe.

Clamp the current probe around the HF
current loop. Verify that the arrow-shaped
indicator on the probe points away from the
pulse generator.

Record the rise time measurement in the
Test Record.

NOTE.

If you measure higher rise times than

expected, check your oscilloscope

rmware

version. (See page 55, Oscilloscope Firmware.)
Early versions of oscilloscope

engage the bandwidth limit

Calculate the probe bandwidth using the
measured rise time in the formula shown.
