The Detail Log

Profile PRO Series

201

The Detail Log

The detail log (scsi.log) records the history of everything that happens on a disk
and helps you track problems with disks. For example, when you relocate or
test bad blocks, you must read the detail log to see the results.

To open and read the detail log:

1. Choose

Disk Utilities | Detail Log

 or click

Detail Log

. The Detail Log

dialog box appears.

2. Click

Close

 when done checking the log information.

NOTE: Scsi.log is a binary file; you cannot view it with WinTail. See
“Viewing Profile Logs” on 203 for information about viewing other
Profile logs.
