Check Offset Accuracy
This test checks the offset accuracy.
1.
Connect the oscilloscope to a DC voltage source. If you are using the Fluke
9500 calibrator as the DC voltage source, connect the calibrator head to the
oscilloscope channel 1.
WARNING.
The generator is capable of providing dangerous voltages. Be sure to
set the generator to off or 0 volts before connecting, disconnecting, and/or moving
the test hookup during the performance of this procedure.
2.
Push the front-panel
Default Setup
button.
3.
Set the Acquisition mode to Average as follows:
a.
Push the front-panel
Acquire
button.
b.
Push the
Mode
lower-bezel button (if not already selected).
c.
Push the
Average
side bezel button.
d.
Ensure that the
number of averages
is set to
16
.
4.
Set the trigger source to AC line as follows:
a.
Push the Trigger
Menu
front-panel button.
b.
Push the
Source
lower-bezel button.
c.
Turn the
Multipurpose a
knob to select the
AC Line
as the trigger source.
5.
Set the Horizontal
Scale
to
1.00 ms
per division.
6.
Set the Bandwidth to 20 MHz as follows:
a.
Push the channel 1 button.
b.
Push the lower-bezel
Bandwidth
button.
c.
Push the side-bezel button to set the bandwidth to
20 MHz
