Your Tektronix 7844/R7844 osc i l l oscope system provides
exceptional flex i bil ity in operation with a wide choice of
general and special purpose plug-in units. The type number
of a particular plug-in u n i t identifies its usage as follows:
The third and fourth digits of the plug�jn type num
ber are sequence numbers and do not carry any
special connotation.
The first digit ( 7 ) denotes the oscilloscope system for
which the p l u g-in unit is designed (JOaO-series ) .
The second letter describes t h e purpose o f t h e plug
in unit:
A�Amplifier unit
B-"Real time" time-base unit
C-Curve Tracer
D-Digital u n i t
L-Spectrum Analyzer
M-Miscellaneous
An "N" suffix letter added to the normal four-digit
type number identifies a unit not equipped with the
circuitry necessary to encode data for the 7000-
series readout system.
Table 2·2 l ists the vertical specifications which are system
dependent. For more complete specifications on plug-in
units for the 7000-Series Osc i l l oscope System, refer to the
Tektronix Products catalog.

EXT CAL OOC to 50°C-Plug-in gain set at a temperature within 10°C of operating temperature, using an external calibrator with accuracy
within 0.25%.
INT CAL OOC to 50°C-Plug-in gain set using the oscilloscope calibrator (within 10°C of the operating temperature) in a temperature
range between
oOe
and +50oC.
