TYP A:
Für den Innenanschluss von Leuchten der Klasse II. Die Klasse I-Version ist
ähnlich, aber dreipolig.
TYP B: Für den Außenanschluss von Leuchten der Klasse II. Die Klasse I-Version ist
ähnlich, aber dreipolig.
TYP C: Für Außenanschlüsse von abgetrennten Leuchten der Klasse I. Die Klasse
II-Version ist ähnlich, verfügt aber über zwei Pole und Hülse. Überprüfen Sie, ob
der Kabeldurchmesser

Garantie.
Das Produkt – sowie alle anderen Produkte der Palette – wurden gemäß den
internationalen/europäischen Sicherheitsstandards (z. B. IEC/EN60598) entwickelt,
hergestellt und getestet. Wir gewährleisten, dass das Produkt frei von Material- und
Verarbeitungsfehlern ist. Diese Garantie ist für zwei (2) Jahre gültig (sofern nicht

EN - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This Manual B contains definitions of all potentially applicable parameters &
specifications with icons, as per International norms and safety standards. However,
all of them may not be applicable for the product you have purchased - please refer
to the icons in the additional Manual A to see those that are particularly applicable for
this product.
• To ensure correct and safe installation, usage and operation of the product, always
follow these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Always switch off the power prior to installation, maintenance, or repair activities.
• Always consult a professional in advance in order to select the correct fastener for
secure mounting of the product. Consider the weight of the product and the material of
the mounting surface.
• If in doubt, consult a qualified or licensed electrician or contact your retail outlet. Ensure
the product is always installed according to relevant regulations.
• Always tighten the terminal screws firmly, especially attachments for low voltage wiring
(12V) (if applicable). It is highly recommended to regularly check and re-tighten the
terminal screws.
• Note the colour of the wiring before installation: blue (N), brown (L) and if protection
class I, yellow/green (earth).
• Clean the interior lighting with a dry cloth, do not use abrasives or solvents. Avoid
contact with liquids on all electrical parts.
• Mount wall lights out of reach of children.
• If the product is mounted on a metallic surface, this surface must be bonded to the
protective earth conductor or to the equipotential bonding conductor of the installation.
• Always consider all technical specifications of the product. Check the icons stated on
the product’s identification label and the icons shown in part A of these safety instructions.
• Immediately replace a cracked or broken translucent cover and only use manufacturer
approved parts.
• Keep packaging materials out of children's reach. (e.g., plastic bags, etc.).
• Disposal of the product. The product is designed and manufactured with high quality
materials and components, which can be recycled and reused. When this crossed-
out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means the product is covered by
the European Directive 2012/19/ EC. Inform yourself about the local waste disposal,
separation and collection system for electrical and electronic products. Always act
according to your local regulations and do not dispose of your old product with your
normal household waste. The correct disposal of your product will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment and human health.
ATTENTION: Below you will find all the explanations with numeric reference to the
icons that appear at the front of these safety instructions:
01 - The product should only be installed indoors.
02 - The product should only be installed outdoors.
03 - The product may be installed both indoors and outdoors.
04 - The product is not suitable for direct mounting on normally flammable surfaces.
05 - The product is not suitable for covering with thermally insulating material.
06 - The mounting surface and the attachment accessories should be suitable for the
weight of the luminaire and be able to support four (4) times its weight. The attachment
accessories supplied are only appropriate for the usages shown in the following table
(*1) . For other usages, the attachment accessory should be replaced with a suitable one.
07 - Luminaire with two different IP ratings at the top and bottom.
08 - Replace any cracked protective screen.
09 - Class I luminaire, where the protection against electric shocks does not fall exclusively
on the main insulation, but includes an additional safety measure in the form of means
of connecting the accessible conductive parts with a protective earth conductor, forming
part of the fixed wiring of the installation, so that the accessible conductive parts cannot
become dangerous in the event of a defect in the main insulation.
10 - Class II luminaire, where the protection against electric shocks does not depend
solely on the mains insulation, but instead contains additional safety measures, such as
double or reinforced insulation. These measures do not include grounding protective
devices, nor are they dependent on installation conditions.
11 - Class III luminaire, where the protection against electric shock is provided by the
safety extra-low voltage (SELV) supply and it can only be supplied through an LED driver
with a SELV output.
12 - Class II luminaire with functional earth connection.
13 - Connection only by hose cable. Check that the diameter is sufficient.
14 - Strip the wire as indicated on the icon.
15 - The earth wire must always be longer than the brown live wire (L) and blue neutral
(N) wire.
16 - The sleeves supplied with the luminaire must cover all the power supply wiring that
enters the luminaire.
17 - The wall bushings must be handled correctly to maintain the IP rating.
18 - The product is dimmable with the supplied dimmer or with a (not included) dimmer
connected to the electrical installation of the home. For further information please visit

Consult a qualified electrician in order to select the suitable dimmer type.
19 - Class III luminaire only suitable for connection through a safety transformer for AC
connections and in the case of DC connections by connecting an LED driver with a SELV
output that includes a safety transformer.

Luminaire sensitive to electrostatic discharges (ESDs). Handle with the precautions
necessary to avoid them and do not touch the LED without protection.

technical service.
25 - Non-replaceable light sources. The entire luminaire must be replaced at the end
of its life.
26 - Luminaire designed for a power feedthrough. Indicates the No. of luminaires that can
be connected in a line or the maximum allowed current.

28 - Accessibility range: The luminaire must only be installed outside of the indicated arm’s length

29 - Characteristics of the electrical connection block that must be used:
1. Screw-type terminal.
2. Class II: 2 poles (L, N).
Class I: 3 poles (L, N, TT).
Respect the colour codes

The terminals must have a minimum capacity of 1.5 mm² for indoor lighting and
a minimum of 2.5 mm² for outdoor lighting. Check if the connection block needs
plugs or special preparation.
5. Check that the connection block is suitable for the output cable: unipolar, bipolar
or tripolar.

Check whether the connection block needs to be fitted onto the luminaire.
Always remember that it must be kept away from the heat source.
7. IP rating to match the IP rating of the luminaire.

TYPE A: for connections inside class II luminaires. The class I version is similar, but
with three poles.
TYPE B: for connections outside of class II luminaires. The class I version is similar,
but with three poles.
TYPE C: for connections outside of luminaires with class I disconnection. Class II
is similar, but with two poles and a sleeve. Check that the diameter of the wire is
suitable for the junction box.
TYPE D: for connections outside of luminaires with a rating of >IP20. Check that the
diameter is suitable for the junction box.
Guarantee.
The product – as well as all other products from the range– is designed, produced and
tested in accordance with international/European safety standards (e.g., IEC/EN60598).
We warrant that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This
warranty is valid for two (2) years (unless otherwise stated on the packaging). In the
event that the product is defective, we will arrange for its repair or replacement free
of charge. Broken glass, batteries and replaceable bulbs do not fall under the terms of
the guarantee. Any damage caused to the product in extreme conditions (coastal areas,
industrial surroundings, farm environments) are not covered by the guarantee. The
guarantee period begins on the date of purchase and is only valid if the original receipt is
produced. The guarantee shall be void if the product has not been installed, repaired or
modified according to the instructions. We do not accept any liability for damage caused
as the result of misuse or undue application of the product.
