5.8.

MOTOR APPEARANCE.

5.8.1. Reasons for Cleaning

a.

Excessive dust or oil accumulation on the motor surface leading to the
clogging of ventilation channels between cooling ribs will reduce the motors
cooling efficiency.

b.

Keeping the motor and equipment clean will improve appearance and
longevity.

Motors should never be cleaned or disturbed whilst the motor is in

operation.
