This procedure also applies for fitting the rectangular (72) or triangular (74) brush, the bristles on which
can be covered by a cloth/sponge using the relative cloth holder (73). This method is recommended for
cleaning delicate surfaces (e.g. high-quality wood) or vertical surfaces (e.g. tiles). In this case the cloth
acts as a dirt “extractor”.
8.3. USING STEAM BOX PROFESSIONAL WITH GEYSER KIT
Warning!!
Switch off the steam generator before connecting the steam hose.
Insert the steam plug (81) in the steam socket (9) on the machine and turn the closing lever.
Fit the desired lance (84) onto Geyser hand grip (80). Screw the nozzle (85) or one of the various optional
accessories (87 / 88 / 89 / 90 / 91) into the lance or fit the window cleaning accessory (86) to the hand
grip, depending on the cleaning operations you wish to perform. Your lance is now ready for use.
Switch on the main switch (4) and buttons for steam production and wait approx. 3-8 minutes
(depending on the model) until the light comes on, indicating that there is steam in the boiler.
Use lever (83) to activate steam delivery. If necessary, run button (82B) at short intervals to dispense
detergent.
Use the respective buttons, minimum steam, medium steam, maximum steam on
the control panel (8) according to the desired steam flow. With each switching ON of the device the steam
flow is always set on maximum steam.
Both the detergent and the overheated water function must be run at intervals (e.g. 20 seconds on 20
seconds off); neither function is intended for continuous run.
The detergent and/or overheated water are delivered only if the steam outlet is active and the “steam
presence” LED is on.
Warning!!
The button (82A) releases from the lance the overheated water under pressure at a temperature
which, depending on the model, can reach 180°C, be very careful not to press this accidentally
and make sure that the jet never points at persons or animals.
