REFER TO THE “ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION” CHAPTER IN YOUR SPRAYER MANUAL

8.1 - REMINDER

8.1.1 - PREVENTIVE MEASuRE

Behave responsibly to the environment!

• Check the

fluid systems to ensure that there are no leaks or loose connections.

• Rectify any damage immediately.

8.1.2 - SPRAYING

Before spraying the mixture

•

Before starting to spray, consult the instructions supplied by the phytosanitory product

manufacturer to select the precise flow required.

•

Enter the required flow rate (set-point quantity) in the control terminal.

•

During spraying, comply with the required flow rate (litres/ha)

◊ to obtain the best result from the

phytosanitary treatment.

◊

to avoid polluting the environment unnecessarily.

Select the type of nozzle required from the spraying table, taking account of

◊

the intended speed of forward movement,

◊ the required flow rate and

◊ the spray characteristics (fine, medium or large drops) of the product used for the

treatment.

► Consult the “Nozzle spraying tables” in the boom user guide.

◊ Before starting to spray, select the size of the nozzle required from the spraying table,

taking into account

◊

the intended forward speed,

◊ the required flow rate and

◊

the desired spray pressure.

To avoid losses due to drift, select a low progress speed and low spray pressure!

8.1.3 -

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Read the user guide provided with the phytosanitary product used and comply with the

recommended doses and precautions.

• A correctly functioning sprayer is essential for spreading phytosanitary products properly

and satisfactorily.

•

Use and clean the filtration systems.

• Clean your

sprayer carefully before using a different

phytosanitary product.

• Rinse the spraying system each time a nozzle is changed.
