ADOPTION

PERSONAL
PROTECTIVE
EQUIPMENT
(PPE)
Before
switching
on
the
bleaching
lamp,
the
operator,
patient,
and
in
general
all
persons
present
during
the
treatment,
must
put
on
the
special
glasses
(PPE
‐
personal
protective
equipment)
supplied
with
the
device.
The
intensity
of
the
emitted
light
can
cause
irreparable
damage
to
the
retina
and
it
is
therefore
necessary
to
use
special
PPE
(personal
protective
equipment).
Check
that
the
lamp
is
positioned
correctly.
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR
THE
USER
LAMP
POSITIONING:
Correct
positioning
of
the
lamp
is
essential
for
proper
use.
The
distance
between
the
lamp
and
the
patient's
mouth
should
be
about
2
‐
10
cm.
PEARL
is
provided
with
three
articulated
joints:
