Windows 7 finds the drives automatically. In case your current version of Windows does not
automatically

detect

the

USB

drivers,

download

the

latest

version

from

here

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Windows XP

Download the latest drivers for your version of windows from

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

After connecting the USB IO board, Windows XP shows a new hardware found wizard.

Choose “No, not at this time” and the Next button.

In the next dialogue, choose “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” and click Next

button.
